Specifically...how they rehome themselves.
When a hermit crab outgrows its shell or its home, it abandons its shell and searches for a new one. The shell that’s been discarded is then repurposed as a new home for another hermit crab, and the cycle continues.
This process reminds me of how we can recycle and rehome/ repurpose our own clothes while also finding something new that works for the “new” us!
