About

My name is Karyme Rodriguez, and I’m a designer based in Texas. I recently graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. I specialize in branding and identity design, as well as 3D modeling, creating visual systems that feel intentional, cohesive, and deeply connected to the people behind them.

I believe every vision deserves clarity. Whether it’s a brand, a story, or an idea that needs direction, my work centers on transforming concepts into visuals that feel aligned, expressive, and true to their purpose. Design, to me, is not just about aesthetics; it’s about building a world that reflects who you are and how you want to be seen.

That belief started long before I ever opened Adobe Illustrator. Growing up, my family couldn’t always buy the newest toys or technology, so creativity became my way of exploring the world. I built dollhouses out of cardboard, crafted my own “computers” and “phones,” and decorated my room with things I made by hand. I loved the feeling of creating something that felt like mine; something that didn’t exist until I imagined it. That instinct to build, shape, and give form to ideas is the same instinct that drives my design work today.

I’m skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Suite, Canva, Figma, and Rhino 3D, and I’m always exploring new tools to expand my creative range. More importantly, I bring a mindset rooted in clarity, cohesion, and human connection.

Growing up, my family couldn’t always buy the newest toys or technology. I remember getting our first VCR when CD players were all the rage,  and my mom would buy us one VHS tape every two weeks of a movie we wanted to collect from a thrift store down the street from where we lived. One particular memory, though, was that my sisters and I really wanted a dollhouse, just like my cousins had at their house. It was a 4-story dollhouse with an elevator and included all the furnishings. What we would’ve done to have a real one. One day, however, we had just moved into a new house, and I saw my sister picking up all the empty boxes and walking towards her room. When I walked in to see what she was doing, I noticed her cutting up the boxes into shapes that formed a house. After a few hours of sitting with her, I realized she was making her own 4-story dollhouse. Boy, I still remember almost everything she made down to the toilet that actually had a functioning seat.

That was the day I believe my creativity sparked. From then on, I started wondering, was all I wanted just out of reach? Or could I make it happen for myself? From then on, creativity became my way of exploring the world. I built cardboard computers, phones, lockers, and room decor. I found inspiration on Pinterest, and even in school projects, I pushed further than the guidelines. Every time I design or create, I get that same spark my sister lit in me that day. From then on, creativity didn’t just become something you were given; it became something you could make possible, and this is reflected in my work now, where I design with intention, heart, and bring what you imagine to life.
